second hand for £1500
with smoke & sound features,
metal tracks, suspension etc.
It has the Armorpax front gun shield
and rear MG mounts (AP038-GR) upgrades.
My intention is to overhaul
the electronics and then convert it to a
Sd.Kfz 251/1 Ausf. C mit Wurfrahmen 40
also known as a Stuka Zu Fuss
As can be seen in these images
put together by Panzer Insight
This model weights something like 35Kg
which means I can't safetly lift it.
Underneath the cabin floor are three
SLA 12v 7Ah batteries = 7.2kg
I could replace them with a single
20Ah 4 cell Lipo pack 14.4v = 1.7kg
The main issue is the batteries sit over the tracks
and less weight = less grip
