After doing the Power Hog conversion I wanted to do something a bit different and had been looking to design an Archimedes screw propulsion system (like this video), but was unable to find suitable readymade Archimedes screws that I could add motors too. Then I spotted the Hot Toys Terrian Twister which was the right size for this vehicle on Ebay, so I stripped one down and removed the screws and re-mounted them, fitted new RC gear and it works well. It uses a Sabertooth dual motor speed controller and a small 7.2v 2000mAh Lipo battery.
