The front machine gun mount need some improvements.

First buy a Dragon MG34, this is a highly detailed item with some moveable parts (which need glueing to stop it coming apart when the halftrack is moving)

The real mount is a much more complex structure than this but my simple version captures the essence of the bracket.

I used some electrical earth wire soldered into the correct shape, drilled two small holes in the tube, then injected some epoxy with a syringe, wait until dry and then prime and paint.

Also drill a small hole in the pistol grip to take the end of the bracket.
The MG won't fit on the mounts so I had to reduce them until it would drop into the mount uprights.

This is the rear MG mount kit that I have modified, I considered the plastic parts too weak.

Metal rod has been inserted into the bottom of the upright.
The hinge below the gun can be drilled out to 2mm and a nut and bolt fitted and put a 1mm pin through the end of the arm to make that joint stronger.

Again I am using another Dragon MG34 but this one will have a belt of ammunition hanging from it rather than the drum magazine on the front MG34.

Just needs painting.

I will try to scratch build the bracket which holds the stock of the MG34 to the hull next.

Fill the slot in the rear hull and drill and mount the lower bush
