RC

I started with the steering servo, servo taped to the model battery (provided with Kettenkrad) which I also servo taped in position.
I also fitted the servo with a 'servo saver' It's connected by a push rod to a ball joint on the front forks, as you can see.
Also notice the power cables for the motors going into the fan housing, these run under the floor to the motors at the front, running them this way keeps everything very neat, obviously I won't be able to use the model diesel engine that comes with the Kettenkrad but the engine cover will block peoples view of these cables along with the rear seat and driver

The ball has a 2mm threaded shaft so I drilled a 1mm hole in the cross bar and screwed the joint in, this seems quite firm.
The threaded shaft does not protrude on the top side of the cross bar which gives it a better appearance.
Drilling the hole in the chassis to take the pushrod was abit more difficult and involved estimating the movement of the rod left & right as the steering is turned.
