This is what it looks like after the conversion.
This model is now complete
(October 2012) and cost about £100 (excluding detailing parts)

The rear engine cover conceals the electronics and battery.

I have added extras to give a more realistic used vehicle. I mounted the receiver aerial through the radio equipment.
